Visual Press release: Nomination of Céline and Nicolas

The Pan-European payment services provider Lemonway has announced two appointments within its Finance and Technology divisions to strengthen its Management Committee.

Céline Bayer and Nicolas Vigier have been appointed Chief Technical Officer and Chief Financial Officer respectively. Both are recognised professionals in their field and bring a wealth of expertise to the Lemonway management team.

Céline Bayer is appointed Chief Technical Officer. An engineering graduate from ECE, Céline has had a passion for web technologies since she started out. She began at Dassault Systèmes as a developer. Thanks to her growing expertise, she quickly climbed the ladder to become Web Project Manager. Her career then took her to the sports newspaper L’Équipe, where she spent almost 8 years. During this period, she held several positions, including Deputy CTO, successfully orchestrating technology projects for the sports media. In 2019, she joined Mangopay, then the startup Veesion in January 2022 as CTO. At Lemonway, Céline is responsible for automating and scaling internal technologies and processes, as well as helping to increase the number of women in teams in an industry that is still predominantly male. With her passion for innovation, Céline will also be leading Lemonway through the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence to further improve the level of service provided to Lemonway’s customers.

"Lemonway has solid technological fundamentals that will enable us to support our strong ambitions in terms of both infrastructure and innovation."

says Céline Bayer.

Nicolas Vigier is appointed Chief Financial Officer. Nicolas is a seasoned financial professional with extensive expertise in financial services. He began his career in financial auditing before moving into payments. Nicolas first joined the Ingenico group, where he held management positions in the finance department for 8 years. In 2019, he joined Dalenys Payment as CFO, where he played a key role in financial management, strategic planning and business development; in 2022, he took on the role of CFO at Payplug, contributing to the merger of Dalenys Payment and Payplug. As CFO at Lemonway, Nicolas oversees the Finance and HR Departments of the company.

"I am delighted to be joining Lemonway to support its strong ambition to grow profitability. The challenges in our industry are exciting and Lemonway seems perfectly equipped to meet them."

explains Nicolas Vigier.

“In recent months, the payment sector has been shaken up by both innovation and consolidation, and the arrival of Céline and Nicolas has enabled us to reach a new stage in our growth. Both of them will be supporting our investments, which are aimed at improving the security and efficiency of the solution we offer our customers, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of our tools and processes in a demanding market that is constantly changing“, says Antoine Orsini, CEO.
